Voiding a Transaction

To void a Credit Card transaction, a batch must exist or be created

Only transactions that have not yet been settled can be voided

Once a transaction has been marked as Void, it cannot be undone

Authorizations are not able to be voided


  1. Login to settlement

  2. Go to the current batch

  3. Select Batch Detail from the batch menu

  4. Locate the transaction you intend to void

  5. Under the actions column, select View

  6. The Transaction Utilities pop-up will appear

  7. At the bottom of the pop-up, select the void button

Once a transaction has been marked as Void, it will not be sent to the properties credit card processor to be settled.
